(373 Ex.d & dd This Indenture made the thirtyeth day of Aprill in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty five Between Edward Dorsey Son of John of Baltimore County in the State of Maryland of the one part and Edward Dorsey Son of Edw.d son of John of Anne Arundel County of the other part Witnesseth that the said Edward Dorsey Son of John for and in Consideration of the Sum of one thousand three hundred and fifty five pounds twelve Shillings and six pence Pennilv.a Currency to him in hand paid by the said Edward Dorsey Son of Edward of John at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof the said Edw.d Dorsey Son of John doth hereby acknowledge and thereof acquit and discharge the said Edw.d Dorsey Son of Edw.d son of John his Heirs and Assigns by these presents Hath granted bargained sold Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents Doth grant bargain Sell Alien Enfeoff and Confirm unto the said Edward Dorsey Son of Edw.d Son of John his Heirs and Assigns for ever All That Part Share or parsel of a Tract of Land called Taillor's Park Containing within the Metes and Bounds or Courses and distances following that is to say Situate lying and being in Ann Arundel County Begining at two bounded white oakes one bounded red oak and one bounded Gum stand at the Head of a small Draught descending into the falls of Potapsco and running thence North fifty seven Degrees West two hundred and forty perches thence South twenty six Containing and now laid out for seven hundred and Twenty three acres more or less To Have and To Hold the said Part or Parcell of Land and all and singular the appurtenances thereto belonging unto the said Edward Dorsey Son of Edw.d Son of John his Heirs and Assigns for Ever To the only proper use and behoof of him the said Edward Dorsey Son of Edw.d of John and his Heirs and Assigns for Ever And the said Edward Dorsey Son of John doth hereby Covenant and grant for himself and his Heirs that he the said Edward Dorsey Son of John and his Heirs the said Tract or Parcel of Land and Premises with all and singular the appurtenances thereto belonging unto the said Edward Dorsey Son of Edw.d of John against himself the said Edward Dorsey Son of John and his Heirs and against all persons claiming by from or under them shall and will for ever Warrant and defend by these Presents In Witness whereof the said Edward Dorsey Son of John hath hereunto set his Hand and Seal the day and year above mentioned Signed Sealed & Delivered in presence of us Ed.w Dorsey Son of John (Seal) Daniel Deady James Neale On the back of the foregoing Deed It is thus Written viz.t Received the day of the date of the within written Indenture from the within named Edward Dorsey Son of Edw.d of John one thousand three hundred and fifty £ five pounds twelve Shillings and six pence Current Money of Pennsilvania being 13355 12 6 the Consideration within mentioned to be paid by him the said Edward Dorsey Son of Edw.d of Jn.o to me Witness Rec.d by me Ed.w Dorsey Son of John Daniel Deady |
