267 Maryland sc.t I hereby Certify that Richard Thomson and Thomas Beall of Geo Gentlemen before whom the above Acknowledgment appears to have been Whose names is thereto Subscribed was at the day of the Date thereof and still are two of the Justices of the Peace in and for Montgomery County and to all whose Acts as such due faith and Credit is and ought to be given as well in Courts of Justice as thereout 7 sides the County In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Affixed the seal Seal of My Office this 26.th Day of October 1784 Brooke Beall Cl Recorded the 20.th Day of Nov.r 1784 Ex.d Know all men by these presents that we John Hammond son of Nathan and Martha Hammond his wife are held and firmly bound unto Rezin Hammond and Rebecca Hammond his wife in the full and Just sum of two hundred Pounds Currency to be paid unto the said Rezin Hammond and Rebecca Hammond his Wife their Certain Attorney Executors Administrators or Assigns to the which payment well and truly to be made and Done we bind ourselves our Heirs Executors and Administrators firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and Dated this third Day of April One thousand seven hundred and seventy two The Condition of the above Obligation is such that if the above bound John Hammond son of Nathan and Martha Hammond his Wife do and shall well and truly Make over or cause to be made Over unto Rezin Hammond and Rebecca Hammond his Wife or their Certain Attorney Executors Administrators or Assigns all his the said John Hammond and Martha Hammond his Wife her right by their Ship of in and unto two Tracts or Parcels of Land One Called Burlip Hill and the other called Pettibones Rest by a good and sufficient Deed of Convey and when she the said Martha Hammond shall arive at the age of twenty one Years then the above Obligation to be Void Else to remain in full force and Virtue in Law Sign.d Sealed & Delivered John Hammond (Seal) In the Presence of Martha Hammond (Seal) Mary Hammond 2½ Recorded the 28.th Day of November 1784 Ex.d Dld & Paid This Indenture made this eighth Day of October in the Year of Our Lord One thousand seven hundred and Eighty four Between Thomas Dosey of Ann Arundel County in the State of Maryland Gentleman and Evelyn Pierepont of the State of Delaware but at this time residing in the State of New York Merchant of the one Part and Thomas Usher of Baltimore County in the State of Maryland Merchant of the other Part Whereas the aforesaid Thomas Dorsey (did) |
