62 On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t Received the day and year within mentioned of the within named Charles Carroll the Sum of one Hundred and ten Pounds Sterling Money of Great Britain being the full Consideration Money within mentioned Test Ja Brice Fra.s Fairbrother Z Onion On the second Day of October 1770 Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland the within named Zacheus Onion and acknowledged the within Deed as his Act and Deed and the Land and Premises within mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named Charles Carroll his Heirs & Assigns for ever Dan of S.t Tho.s Jenifer Received of Charles Carroll Esq.r Barrister the Sum of Three Shillings and five pence Sterling Money it being the Alienation money on the within Land for the use of Lord Baltimore by Virtue of a Commission from John Morton Jordan Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General Recorded 5.th October 1770 John Brice 9¼ x.d Maryland fs.t This Indenture made this Nineteenth Day of September Anno Domini one Thousand seven hundred and seventy between William Coale and Anne his Wife of the one part and Lenord Kitsmiller of Frederick County in the Province aforesaid Farmer of the other Part Witnesseth that the said William Coale and Anne his wife for and in Consideration of the sum of Four Hundred and sixty nine Pounds Sixteen Shillings Current Money of Maryland by him the said Lenord Kitsmiller to them the said William Coale and Anne his Wife in hand paid before the Sealing and Delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof we the said William Coale and Anne his wife doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and therefrom doth acquit Exonerate and Discharge the said Lenord Kitsmiller his Heirs Executors and Administrators Hath given granted sold aliened enfeoffed and Confirmed and we the said William Coale and Anne his Wife for ourselves and our Heirs by these Presents doth give grant bargain Sell Alien enfeoff and confirm unto him the said Lenord Kitsmiller his Heirs and Assigns all that Third part of a Tract of Land called Ivy Church situate lying and being in Frederick County aforesaid Beginning in the sixth Course of the Land sixty four Perches from the begining thereof and running thence South ten Degrees East Two hundred Nity six Perches to the end thereof then South forty degres West seventy four Perches the North sixty degrees West Thirty two Perches then South Sixty degrees West Seventy six Perches then North seventy degrees West Forty six Perches then North Ten degrees (West) |
