265 for the sum of five thousand pounds of toba.o which said Moyety or half part so sold as af.d is butted and bounded as followeth Viz.t Beginning at a bounded pine running south and by Eastt thirty pearches then south East sixty three parches to a bounded chesnutt Tree then near westt and by south to the north westt Line of y.e said land to a bounded white oak then north westt one hundred thirty seven perches to a bounded white oak then north one hunde.d and thirty perches to a bounded oak and from the said oak south East to the firstt tree being accouted and taken to be the one moyety or half part of y.e af.d tract of Land called the plains And in as much as the bounds of the said moyety is nott certainly knowen it is agreed that the said John Gray shall have occupy possess and enjoy all that the remain part of the aforsaid tract of Land which was not conveyed to the said John Peasly af.d with all and singular its Rights members Jurisdictions and Appurtinances as also houses Edifices buildings Gardens yards Orchards Feedings Meadows Woods Underwoods Timber and Timber trees ways Easments profitts Comoditys hereditaments and appurtinances whatsoever to the said land and premises or any part or parcell thereof belonging or in any wise appertaining To have and to hold the said Moyety or half part of the afd Tract of land containing by Estimation two hund.d acres and premises with the appurtinances before by these presents bargained and sold or Intended to be thereby Granted aliened bargained and sold and every part and parcell thereof unto the said John Gray his heirs and assignes unto the only proper use and behoof of the said John Gray his heirs & assigns for ever And the said Charles Stevens Humphry Hogan & Frances Lee each and every of them and each and every of their said wifes doe for them and every of them their heirs Ex.rs Admini.rs Covenant and Grant to and with the said John Gray his heirs and assigns by these presents in manner and forme fowolling that is to say that they the said Charles Humphry and Frances at the time of the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents are and stand lawfully sized of a good sure perfect and indefezeable |
