x.d            This Indenture Made the thirteenth day of
       Jan.ry Anno Domi one thousand seven hundred and Twenty
       Betwen Charles Stevens of Baltemore County Planter and Sarah
       his wife Humphry Hogan of Annarundle County Planter and
       Rebecca his wife & Francis Lee of Annarundell County Planter
       and Rose his wife of y.e one part and John Gray of y.e other
       part    Wittnesseth that the said Charles Stevens and his
       wife Humphry Hogan and his wife Francis Lee and his wife
       for and in consideration of the sum of thirty pounds ster.l to them
       in hand paid or secured to be paid at and before the Ensealing &
       Deleviery of these presents by the said John Gray the reci.tt whereof
       they the said Charles Humphry & Francis do hereby accknowledge
       and themselvs therewith fully satisfied & paid & thereof & every part
       and Parcell thereof do Clearly acquitt Exonarate & Discharge the
       said John Gray his heirs ex.rs & adm.rs for ever by these Presents
       have Given granted alliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these
       Presents do fully Clarely & absolutely give grant Bargain sell aliene
       Enfeoff and Confirm unto the said John Gray ^all^ that moyety or half partt
       of a tract of Land called the plain lying on the west side Cheasapeak
       Bay Between the branches of magaty River and patapsco
       River and on the head of a creek called Baver dam Creek
       Beginning at a bounded pine and running south and by Easth
       thirty pearchs then south Eastt two hundred perches to a bounded
       Pine and from the said pine by a Line Drawen south one
       hundr.d and thirty perches bounded on the south by a Line Drawen
       north westt four hundred nintey five perchs to a marktt white
       oak and from the said oak by a line Drawen north one hundr.d &
       thirty perches bounded on the north by a Line Drawen south
       eastt to the first bounded tree containing and now laid out for
       four hundred acres more or less And Whereas the other Moyety
       or half part of the said four hundred acres not hereby conveyed
       or intended to be conveyed was on the seventh day of
       Jenne.ry 1692 conveyed by Zacharia Gray to John Peasely
