writt ad q.d dam                  William Third by y.e Grace of God of England
       Scotland France and Ireland King Defender of y.e faith &c
       To the sherriff of S.t Maries County Greeting wee
       Command you that by y.e oaths of Twelve Lawfull &
       honest men of your Baliwick by whome y.e truth
       of the matter may be better Known you Dilligently
       Enquire of it be to y.e Damage of us or others if we
       grant to John Coode of our said County Gent Twenty
       Acres of Land lying in S.t Clements hundred in our said
       County to witt Ten Acres of Land lying on one side of
       a Run of water called Tomocokin Run and ten acres
       on the other side of the said Run of water togather
       with liberty to take fell and cut down and Carry away
       Either by Land or water any wood or Timber fitt for
       Building a mill other then Timber fitt to splitt into
       Clapboards upon any the Lands adjoyning to the said Twenty
       Acres of Land on each side of the Run of water af.d
       And if it be to the Damage and prejudice of us or
       others then to make what Damage and prejudice of others
       and of whome and in what Manner and how and of
       who or of whome the afd Twenty Acres of Land
       are holden and by what service and in what manner
       and how & of what vallue they are by the year
       according to the true vallue thereof now before
       any Further Improvement be made of the said Twenty
       Acres of Land and who are the present possessors
       of the said Twenty Acres of Land and what Lands
       and Tenements Remaine to the present possessors
       over the said Twenty Acres of Land and if the
