473) 483 This Indenture Made the Eighteenth Day of June in the Thirteenth year of the Dominion of the Right Hon.ble Charles Absolute Lord and Prop.ry of the Provinces of Maryland & Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &c And in the year of Our Lord God One Thousand six Hundred Eighty & Eight Betweene John Willson of the County of Ann Arundell in the Province of Maryland Planter of the one Part And Job Evans of the same County & Province Planter of the other Part Wittnesseth that the said John Willson as well for & in Consideracon of the full and Just sum of Eight Thousand Pounds of Good sound Merchantable Tobacco in Caske To him in hand (by the said Job Evans) already Paid & delivered or secured to bee Paid and Delivered the Receipt whereof hee the said John Willson doth hereby acknowledge and therewith to be fully Contented sattisfied & Paid and thereof & Every part and parcell thereof the said Job Evans his Heirs Execut.rs Administrators & Assignes & every of them doth acquitt Exonerate & for ever discharge by these Presents As alsoe for divers other good Causes & Valluable Consideracons him thereunto likewise & Especially moveing Hath Given Granted Aliened Bargained Sold Enfeoffed & Confirmed And by these Presents doth for himselfe & his Heirs fully Cleerely & Absolutely Give Grant Alien Bargaine Sell Enfeoffe & Confirme unto the said Job Evans his Heires & Assignes for Ever All that Tract or Parcell of Land Called and knowne by the name Elverton Lyeing in Talbott County in Greate Choptank River on the Northeast Branch of the River on the East side of the branch att the Mouth of a Creeke called Wattses Creeke or Wattes Creeke on the south side of the said Creek Begining att A Marked Cæder Tree on the water side & Runing from the said Cæder East & by North One Hundred & sixty pches to a marked oake in the woods bounded on the south from the said oake by a line Drawne south & by East for the length of three Hundred Twenty Five pches Bounded on the west from the end of the aforesaid Lyne by a line drawne west & by south One Hundred & sixty pches to a marked Tree by the waters side bounded on the North with the aforesaid Branch till it intersect with the First marked Tree Containing & formerly Laid out for Three Hundred & Fifty Acres more or Less Together with all the Trees Woods Underwoods Timber & Timber Trees Fruite Trees And all the Messuages Tenements dwelling houses Tobacco Houses Outt Houses Barnes stables Edifices Buildings Fences & Fencings Orchards Gardens yards Backsides Wayes Passages water & water Courses Benefitts Profitts Comodities Advantages & priviledges And alsoe all the Right Title Estate Interest use Possession Reverssion & Reverssions Remainer & Remainers of in & to the Premisses & Every Part & Parcell thereof And Likewise all the Deeds Pattents Writeings and Minuments which doth in Anywise Touch or Concerne the same with all & singular other the Priviledges and Appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise Appertaining (Royall Mines only Excepted) To have and to Hold all the aforesaid Tract or Parcell of Land & Premisses with all and singular the Privilidges & Appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any ^wise^ Appertaining and Every Part & Parcell thereof unto him the said Job Evans his Heires & Assignes for Ever to the only Proper use & behoofe of him the said Job Evans his Heires & Assignes for Ever and hee the said John Willson for himselfe his Heires Ex.rs & Adm.rs & Every of them doth Covenant Promise & Grante to & with the said Job Evans his Heires & Assignes & Every of them by these Presents That hee the said John Willson Now at the time of the Ensealing & delivery hereof is & standeth seized in his Demesne of Fee simple to him & his Heires of in & to the aforesaid pcell of Land & Premisses & Every part & pcell thereof with thappurtenances And that hee the said John Willson Now hath in himselfe Good Right full power & Lawfull Authority to Give Grante Alien Bargaine Sell Convey &^ Assure the before Menconed to be hereby Bargained Land and Premisses & Every parte & parcell thereof with Every Thapp.ts unto him the said Job Evans his Heires & Assignes for Ever And that the Land & premisses before menconed to bee hereby Bargained and Every pt & Parcell thereof with Thapp.ts Now are And soe shall & may for Ever hereafter Remaine Continue & bee unto the said Job Evans his Heires & Assignes for ever free & Cleere And fully freely Cleerely & Absolutely Acquitted & for ever discharged of & from All & all manner of Incumbrances whatsoever the Rents & services which shall hereafter become due & payable unto the Cheife Lord or Lords of the Fee or Fees of the said premisses only Excepted & foreprized And that hee the aforesaid Job Evans his Heires and Assignes the before Menconed to bee hereby bargained Lands & Premisses & Every part & Parcell thereof with Thapp.ts (as in manner & forme in & by these p.rsents is menconed & Expressed & According to the true Intent & Meaning of the same) shall & may for Ever hereafter Peaceably & Quietly have hold use Occupie Possesse & Enjoy & keep the same without the Lett suite Trouble Molestacoll Eviction deniall or any hinderance or Disturbance of him the said John Willson his Heires Ex.rs Adm.rs or any other person or persons whatsoever And further hee the said John Willson for himselfe his Heires Ex.rs &
