1460 LAWS OF MARYLAND                       [Ch. 357

PROPERTY, AND UPON SUCH REDEMPTION, SHALL PAY OVER SUCH

RENTS, LESS ALL EXPENSES REQUIRED FOR THE PROPERTY
MAINTENANCE AND UPKEEP OF THE PROPERTY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

AN ACT concerning

Juvenile Causes - Retention of Jurisdiction

FOR the purpose of allowing the Court's jurisdiction to
continue in order to conduct a waiver hearing
against an adult who had committed a delinquent act
prior to his attaining a certain age.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments.

Annotated Code of Maryland

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 3—815(a) of Article — Courts and
Judicial Proceedings, of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1974 Volume) be and it is hereby repealed and
re—enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

Article — Courts and Judicial Proceedings
3-815.

(a) If the court obtains jurisdiction over a
child, that jurisdiction continues until the person
reaches 21 years of age unless terminated sooner. THIS
DOES NOT LIMIT THE COURT'S JURISDICTION TO CONDUCT A
WAIVER HEARING AGAINST AN ADULT WHO HAD COMMITTED A
DELINQUENT ACT PRIOR TO HIS ATTAINING AGE 18.
