SEC. 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is hereby declared
to be an emergency measure and necessary for the immediate preservation of the
public health and safety and having been passed by a yea and nay vote supported
by three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two Houses of the General
Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 21
(Senate Bill 760)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 11(i-l) of Article 2B
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume), title
"Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Beer Licenses," raising the annual fee for a
class D beer license in Kent County.
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 11(i-1) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Beer
Licenses," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

(i-l) In Kent and Wicomico counties, the annual license fee for such a license
shall be THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($300.00) AND one hundred dollars
($100.00), RESPECTIVELY.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is hereby
