Sec. 2 7-4. RESPONSE AREA BOUNDARIES.
(A) RESPONSE AREA - DEFINITION.
A RESPONSE AREA IS THE
GEOGRAPHIC AREA SERVED BY A FIRE AND/OR FESCUE STATION
WHOSE BOUNDARIES APE THE MID-POINTS IN ROAD DISTANCES
BETWEEN FIRE AND/OR RESCUE STATIONS.
(B) VARIANCE WITH FIRE TAX DISTRICT
BOUNDARIES; BOUNDARY
ADJUSTMENTS.
FIRE TAX DISTRICT BOUNDARIES
ARE PREDICATED UPON THE CLOSEST RESPONSE AREA,
HOWEVER, BECAUSE THE COUNTY TAX BILLING PROCEDURES
REQUIRE THAT FIRE TAX DISTRICT BOUNDARIES FOLIOS
PROPERTY LINE BOUNDARIES OR NATURAL OR MAN-MADE
GEOGRAPHIC BOUNDARIES SUCH AS STREAMS OR ROADS IN
CERTAIN INSTANCES A FIRE, TAX DISTRICT BOUNDARY MAY
VARY FROM THE RESPONSE AREA BOUNDARIES.
A RESPONSE AREA BOUNDARY SHALL
ALWAYS ATTEMPT TO REFLECT THE MID-POINT IN ROAD
DISTANCE BETWEEN EXISTING FIRE AND/OP RESCUE STATIONS
REGARDLESS OF EXISTING FIRE TAX DISTRICT BOUNDARIES.
RESPONSE AREA BOUNDARIES,
HOWEVER, MAY BE ADJUSTED TO TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION
GEOGRAPHIC FEATURES WHICH AID IN EFFECTIVE DISPATCH
OPERATIONS.
SECTION 7. Section 30-2, title "Fire board
created; election; term; duties, compensation, etc.,"
Chapter 30, title "Cabin John Park," of the Montgomery
County Code 1965, as amended, is hereby repealed and
re—enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
Sec. 30-1. Fire Board created; election; term; duties,
compensation, etc.
(a) There is hereby created a Fire Board
to manage the finances of the Cabin John Park
Volunteer Fire Department, Inc., or its successor, and
to exercise such other authority as is vested in it by
this chapter. The Fire Board shall consist of nine
members who are registered voters and residents of the
fire district herewith created, to to selected as
hereinafter provided:
