SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 126D be and it is hereby added to Article 66C
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume and 1972
Supplement), title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Birds, Game and Fish,"
subheading "Hunter's License," to follow immediately after Section 126C thereof,
and to read as follows:

126D.

BEFORE A HUNTING LICENSE MAY BE ISSUED THE APPLICANT
FOR THE LICENSE SHALL SIGN A STATEMENT WHICH SAYS:

"I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS HUNTING LICENSE DOES NOT GIVE
ME PERMISSION TO HUNT ON THE PRIVATE PROPERTY OF
OTHERS. I FURTHER UNDERSTAND THAT SHOULD I BE UNABLE
TO OBTAIN PERMISSION FROM THE PROPERTY OWNER I MAY BE
SUBJECT TO A FINE, A JAIL SENTENCE, OR BOTH, AND THE
REVOCATION OF MY HUNTING LICENSE."

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1973.

(House Bill 1490)

AN ACT to add new subsection (1-1) to Section 1 of Article 77A of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1969 Replacement Volume), title "Higher Education,"
subtitle "Community Colleges," to follow immediately after subsection (1)
thereof, to resolve doubts as to whether the trustees of community colleges and
the trustees of regional community colleges have the power and authority to sue
and to be sued.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new subsection (1-1) be and it is hereby added to Section 1 of
Article 77A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1969 Replacement Volume), title
"Higher Education," subtitle "Community Colleges," to follow immediately after
subsection (1) thereof, and to read as follows:

(1-1) TO SUE AND BE SUED.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1973.
