BILL NO. 21
AN ACT to legalize the 1970 Cumulative Supplement to the Baltimore
County Code, 1968, and to make the same evidence of the portions
of the Charter, rules, regulations, resolutions, public local laws, and
ordinances of Baltimore County, Maryland purporting to be con-
tained therein.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the County Council of Baltimore
County, Maryland, That the 1970 Cumulative Supplement to the
Baltimore County Code, 1968, compiled, edited and published by
Michie City Publications Company, Charlottesville, Virginia, be and
the same is hereby legalized and shall be deemed and taken as
evidence of those portions of the Charter, rules, regulations, resolu-
tions, public local laws, and ordinances of Baltimore County, Mary-
land purporting to be contained therein, in all the courts of this
State, and by all justices of the peace, trial magistrates, and all
other public officials of the State and its political subdivisions.
Section 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect forty-five days after its enactment.

BILL NO. 36
AN ACT to abolish County inspection of school buses by repealing
Section 31-12 of the Baltimore County Code, 1968 (1969 Cumula-
tive Supplement), title "Schools".
Whereas, heretofore all school buses except county-owned or
county chartered buses, used for transporting children to and from
any public or private school within Baltimore County, were required
to be inspected by the Police Department; said inspections prescribed
that certain inspection fees be paid, and
Whereas, adequate inspection of said buses is now being carried
out by the Department of Motor Vehicles under State law without
charge, and
Whereas, the Chief of Police of Baltimore County has recom-
mended that said county inspection requirement be repealed.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the County Council of Baltimore
County, Maryland, that Section 31-12 of the Baltimore County Code,
1968 (1969 Cumulative Supplement), title "Schools," be and it is
hereby repealed.
Section 2. And be it further enacted, that this Act shall take
effect forty-five days after its enactment.
