626 This Indenture made the seventh day of November in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty five Between John Peerce of Prince Georges County Planter of the one part and Benjamin Notley Peerce son of the said John Peerce of the same County Carpenter of the other Part Whereas a Recovery has been had in the Provincial Court of this Province held at Annapolis on the third Tuesday of October last for the Docking Barring and Cutting off all Estates Tail and Remainders in Tail of and in the Tracts or Parcells of Land herein after mentioned now this Indenture Witnesseth that for the setling and assuring of the same to and for the uses intents and Purposes herein after limmitted Expressed and declared and in Consideration of five shillings to him the said John Peerce in hand paid by the said Benjamin Notley Peerce and also for the Natural Love and affection he Beareth unto the said Benjamin Notley Peerce and for divers other good Causes and Considerations him the said John Peerce thereunto moving hath Covenanted Concluded and Agreed with the said Benjamin Notley Peerce his heirs and assigns that the said Recovery so as aforesaid had and suffered of those Tracts or Parcells of Land called Kettering and Northhampton Beginning at a small white oak standing upon the Edge of the Western Branch it being the South East Corner Tree of the aforesaid Land called Northhampton from thence eighty Perches to another great White Oak upon the Brow of a hill by the said Branch from thence westerly with marked Trees till it Comes to the Rolling Path of Thomas Sprigg Junior and thence along the said Path till it Comes to the Rolling Path of Thomas Sprigg Senior and thence along Annapolis Road towards the Eastern Branch untill it Comes to a Branch that Runs from said Spriggs to Thomas Lucases so along the said branch till it Comes against the Dwelling house of the said Lucas to the Beginning tree of the aforesaid Tract of Land called Northamton being a small Red Oak standing on the South side of the said Branch from the said Oak to the first bounded Tree Containing and supposed to be two hundred Acres of Land more or less situate lying and being in Prince Georges County with its appurtenances shall be and enure and shall be deemed adjudged and taken and is meant and Intended and by the Parties to these Presents is hereby declared to be and enure from and Immediately after the time (of) |
