Volume and 1967 Supplement), title "Crimes and Punishments,"
subtitle "Rogues and Vagabonds," and to add new Subsection
109(59a) to Article 26 of said Code (1966 Replacement Volume),
title "Courts," subtitle "Municipal Court of Baltimore City," to
follow immediately after Section 109(59) thereof, to give the
Municipal Court of Baltimore City jurisdiction over this offense.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 490 of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1967 Replacement Volume and 1967 Supplement), title "Crimes and
Punishments," subtitle "Rogues and Vagabonds," be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, and that new Subsection
109 (59a) be and it is hereby added to Article 26 of said Code (1966
Replacement Volume), title "Courts," subtitle "Municipal Court of
Baltimore City," to follow immediately after Section 109(59) thereof,
all to read as follows:

490.

If any person shall be apprehended having upon him any picklock,
key, crow, jack, bit, or other implement, at places and under circum-
stances from which an intent may be presumed feloniously to break
and enter into any dwelling house, warehouse, storehouse, stable or
outhouse, or shall have upon him any pistol, hanger, cutlass, bludgeon,
or other offensive weapon, also at places and under circumstances
from which may be presumed an intent feloniously to assault any per-
son, or shall be found in or upon any dwelling house, warehouse,
storehouse, stable or outhouse, or in any enclosed yard or garden or
area belonging to any house, with an intent to steal any goods or
chattels, every such person shall be deemed a rogue and vagabond,
and on being convicted thereof shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and
shall be sentenced to imprisonment for not more than three years.
The Municipal Court of Baltimore City shall have concurrent juris-
diction with the Criminal Court of Baltimore City to try persons
charged with violating this section.

109.

(59a) Rogues and vagabonds.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

Supplement), title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle "Drugs,"
to follow immediately after subsection 122B(g) thereof, and to
add new subsection 109 (44a) to Article 26 of said Code (1966
Replacement Volume), title "Courts," subtitle "Municipal Court
of Baltimore City," to follow immediately after Section 109(44)
