Vehicle Safety Responsibility Law and the Board in the administra-
tion of this subtitle shall cooperate in order to avoid duplication and
to achieve efficiency and economy.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

(Senate Bill 371)

AN ACT to add new sub-section (c) to Section 417 of Article 48A
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Replacement Volume),
title "Insurance Code", sub-title "24. Group Life Insurance",
to follow immediately after sub-section (b) thereof, to restrict
solicitation under group life insurance policies issued in other
jurisdictions.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new sub-section (c) be and it is hereby added to Section 417
of Article 48A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Replace-
ment Volume), title "Insurance Code", sub-title "24. Group Life
Insurance" to follow immediately after sub-section (b) thereof, and
to read as follows:

417.

(c) Solicitation of coverage in this State under a group life in-
surance policy issued in another jurisdiction may not be made unless
the type of group to be covered conforms substantially to one of the
types of groups provided for in Sections 418 through 424 of this
sub-title. UNLESS APPROVED BY THE INSURANCE COMMIS-
SIONER.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

AN ACT to declare the sanction and consent of the General Assembly
of Maryland to sundry gifts, bequests, and devises contained in the
Last Wills and Testaments of certain persons, deceased, and also
to certain gifts, grants, sales, leases and deeds made by various
persons to and for the use and benefit of sundry ministerial per-
sons, religious corporations, vestries, educational and charitable
institutions, churches, denominations or sects hereinafter named.
