INTRODUCTION OF RESOLUTIONS
Senate Resolution No. 3—By Senator Dean:

Senate Resolution expressing deepest regrets over the passing of Mr.
James T. Knotts of Queen Anne's County.

The members of the Senate of Maryland have learned with deep
regret of the passing of Mr. James T. Knotts of Queen Anne's
County.

For a number of years during the 1940's and 1950's, Mr. Knotts
served as Sergeant-at-Arms of the Senate of Maryland. Prior to that,
he had been a member of the Board of County Commissioners of
his county.

"Mr. Jimmy," as he was affectionately known by many hundreds
of friends, contributed much to the successful workings of the
Senate of Maryland. He endeared himself to all, and in his passing,
