a shop addition to the James M. Bennett School on East College
Avenue, Salisbury, Maryland, as well as making certain alterations
within the existing industrial arts areas at a cost not to exceed Four
Hundred Sixty-Two Thousand Dollars ($462,000.00), including cost
of construction and architect fees; (2) constructing a new Elemen-
tary School on West Road, near Salisbury, Maryland, at a cost not
to exceed Four Hundred Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($415,000.00),
including cost of construction and architect fees; (3) constructing
a new Elementary School on Glen Avenue Extended, near Salisbury,
Maryland, at a cost not to exceed Three Hundred Ten Thousand Dol-
lars ($310,000.00), including cost of construction and architect fees;
(4) altering the Hebron School, Hebron, Maryland, to include a new
cafeteria kitchen at a cost not to exceed Fifty-five Thousand Dollars
($55,000.00), including cost of construction, permanent equipment
and architect fees; (5) constructing a four classroom addition, with
facilities for two additional rooms, to the Delmar Elementary School,
Delmar, Maryland, and making certain alterations within the exist-
ing building at a cost not to exceed One Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($150,000.00), including cost of construction and architect
fees; (6) altering the gymnasiums at the Pittsville School in Pitts-
ville, Maryland, and the Mardela School at Mardela, Maryland, to
include more adequate shower, locker, storage and office facilities at
a cost not to exceed Sixty-three Thousand Dollars ($63,000.00), in-
cluding cost of construction and architect fees; (7) constructing a
four classroom addition to the Fruitland School, located on Main
Street, Fruitland, Maryland, at a cost not to exceed Seventy Thou-
sand Dollars ($70,000.00), including cost of construction and archi-
tect fees; (8) constructing an office building for the Board of Edu-
cation, located on the grounds of the Wicomico Senior High School,
Salisbury, Maryland, at a cost not to exceed Two Hundred Twenty-
five Thousand Dollars ($225,000.00), including cost of construction
and architect fees; (9) to provide a fund for the purchase of equip-
ment for the projects from 1-8 above, inclusive, at a cost not to ex-
ceed Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000.00), and (10) pro-
viding a Contingency Fund of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00)
to be used by the County Commissioners of Wicomico County and
the Board of Education of Wicomico County in their joint dis-
cretion to pay possible additional costs of construction and/or
equipment of any and all of the said projects 1-9 inclusive, named
herein, and providing further that any funds which are available for
the projects under (1) through (9) inclusive, and are not needed for
said purposes, such unused available funds, as well as any other un-
encumbered funds that may be available to the County Commis-
sioners of Wicomico County and/or the Board of Education of Wi-
comico County for such capital improvements during the fiscal years
1963-64 and 1964-65 may be added to the Contingency Fund of Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) herein mentioned and used for the
same purposes as the aforesaid Contingency Fund; the County Com-
missioners of Wicomico County, Maryland, be and they are hereby
authorized and empowered to borrow at one time, or from time to
time, upon the full faith and credit of said County, an amount not
exceeding One Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,500,-
000.00), and to issue coupon bonds therefor from time to time as said
County Commissioners of Wicomico County and the Board of Educa-
tion of Wicomico County jointly decide to carry out said purposes.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the said bonds shall be
