Maryland Is/ This Indenture made the Twenty Seaventh Day of November in the year of Talbott County Esqr of the one pt and George Vanderford of Kent County Consideration of ye sum of Seaven Thousand Pounds of Tob: to him in hand by the said George Vanderford ye receipt whereof ye him yd sd Robt Smith every pt & pcell thereof doth clearely acquitt Exonerate and discharge the given granted aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed unto him ye sd George Van Hill Conteining and laid out for one Hundred and Seaventy Acres with all gardens and all other profitts and Comodties and ye appurtenances, to ye sd which sd Tract or pcell of Land Lyes Sittuate and being in Kent County Hambletons branch, Beginning at a bounded Poplar standing in a fork by East Three Hundred and Twenty pches then north east one Hundred acres more or Less and now or Late in ye possession of yd sd Robt Smith ders of all and singular the before granted prmises and all rent and and alsoe the Estate right Title and Interest, use possession Claime and de Evidences charters and other things whatsoever touching or concerning of Land called Fox Hill and all and singular ye before granted prmises Vanderford his Heires and assignes and to the onely proper use andbe assignes and all and Every other person or persons whatsoever; shall for himself his Heires and assignes doth Covenant and agree to & following (that is to say) That he ye said Robt Smith at ye time of En Estate of Inheritance of all and singular ye granted prmises Executed in and upon ye said George Vanderford his Heires and Confirme & be Seized of and in ye sd Tract or pcell of Land and all [illegible] all their rights members and appurtenances of a good and absolute or remainder or Limitacon of any use or uses Estate or Estates in ?? and that the sd Robt Smith his Heires and assignes at the time of ye Lawfull authority to give grant sell convey and confirm all & the sd George Vanderford his Heires and assignes in manr and form of them shall and may by force and vertue of these prsents fro- and Injoye ye said Tract of Land and all and singular the before here the rents and profitts thereof to his and their owne proper use and behoof of hiim ye said Robt Smith his Heires or assignes or any other person or and discharged and well and sufficiently saved and kept harmless gifts, grants, bargaines, sales, Leases and all other Incumberances what other thing, had made or done by the sd Robt Smith his Heires or henceforth from time to time in respect of ye prmises shall and [illegible] prmises only Excepted and foreprized) and ffurther yd said Robt with the said George Vanderford his Heires and assignes that he that shall Lawfully Claime or rightfully pretend to hve any part thereof shall and will from Time to time and at all times this Date att and upon the reasonable request and at ye Cost & make pforme acknowledge and suffer or cause to be made acts thing And things, device assurance and Conveyance in ye G.
