In ye year of our Lord One thousand Seaven
Kent County planter & Rachel his wife
& his wife Mary of ye one part; & Phillip
wittnesseth yt the sd Charles Lowder Edwd
of ye sum of Six thousand five hundred
at & before ye sealing & delivery of these
whereof ye sd Charles Lawder Edwd Elliot
our selves satisfyed contented & pd, & by these
Exonerate acquitt & discharge him the
assignes, & by these presents doth clearly
Enffeofe & Confirm unto him ye sd Phillip
all that part of parcell of land lying
Chester river called ye fork, begining at
fork of red Lion branch called Deaven
tree of sd Deavenports Land running
east one hundred & twenty perches
thence north forty two degrees west down
prches to ye fork, thence south up by
& four prches to ye sd popler: Containing
with all rights pattents Deeds, writeings
wise appertaining or Confirming ye sd
thereof To have & to hold ye same
prquisitts & appurtonances therewith
to him ye sd Phillip Copedge his heires
Charles Lowder: Edwd Elliott, & their
promise & bind themselves their heires
bargained prmises & Eveery part and prcell
prsons making any Claim or prtens
thereof; to warrant and for ever
his heires Exctrs and assignes for ever
their sd wives do further Covenant
heirs Exctrs all & Every of them; ye
prcell thereof against all manner of
ye sd Phillip Copedge his heires Extrs
wch shall from time to time grow due
respects of his or their signiory or signori

do further bind themselves at any
