add an additional section to Article 23 of the Code of Public
Civil Laws of 1912, title 'Corporations, ' sub-title 'Condemna-
tion of Property by Corporations, ' to be known as Section
405-A, said additional section authorizing condemnation by
corporations formed and organized for the purpose of trans-
porting natural gas. " [Which was read the first time and
referred to the Committee on Corporations. ]
By Mr. Duvall: Senate Bill No. 636, entitled "An Act to
repeal and re-enact, - with amendments, Section 16 of Article
72 of Bagby's Code of Public General Laws of Maryland,
title 'Oysters, ' sub-title 'Time for Taking Oysters, ' so as to
shorten the season for Magothy River and its tributaries in
Anne Arundel county. " [Which was read the first time and
referred to the Committee on Chesapeake Bay and Tribu-
taries. ]
By Mr. Warfield: Senate Bill No. 637, entitled "An Act to
provide for the taxation of freight line companies. " [Which
was read the first time and referred to the Committee on Fi-
nance. ]
By Mr. Bennett: Senate Bill No. 638, entitled "An Act to
regulate license fees and the operation of motor vehicles to
be used in the public transportation of merchandise or freight,
operating over State, State-aid, improved county. roads and
streets and roads of incorporated towns and cities in the
State of Maryland, to provide for the disposition of such fees
and for the penalties for the violation of this Act. " [Which
was read the first time and re/erred to the Committee on
Finance. ]
By Mr. Warfield: Senate Bill No. 639, entitled "An Act to
repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 1 of Article
78 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, title 'Public Printer, '
as said section was repealed and re-enacted by Chapter 206
of the Acts of 1908. " [Which was read the first time and re-
ferred to the Committee on Finance. ]

Act to regulate the manufacture, purchase, sale or dealing in,
medicinal, pharmaceutical, scientific, sacramental, mechanical,
culinary or toilet preparations. " [Which was read the first
