By Mr. Frick: Senate Bill No. 274, entitled "An Act to con-
solidate the Maryland Industrial School for Girls and the
Maryland State Training School for Girls under the name
of Maryland Industrial Training School for Girls; to fix
the powers thereof and making appropriations therefor. "
[Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee
on Judicial Proceedings. ]

By Mr. Frick: Senate Bill No. '275, entitled "An Act to
declare the sanction and consent of the General Assembly of
Maryland to the conveyance of a certain lot of ground in Bal-
timore city by Lewis L. Lederer and wife to the Evangelical
Lutheran Church of the Incarnation of Baltimore city. "
[Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee
on Judicial Proceedings. ]

By Mr. Frick: Senate Bill No. 276, entitled "An Act re-
lating to jurisdiction over that portion of Fort McHenry
the use of which was recently granted to the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore. " [Which was read the first time and
referred to the City Senators. ]

By Mr. Frick: Senate Bill No. 277, entitled "An Act to
add a new paragraph to Section 6 of the Revised Charter of
Baltimore City, title 'General Powers'; said new paragraph to
follow paragraph 31 and to be designated '32—Wider Use of
Public Property. '" [ Which was read the first time and re-
ferred to the City Senators. ]

By Mr. Frick: Senate Bill No. 278, entitled "An Act to add
a new section to Article 33 of Bagby's Code, title 'Elections';
said section to follow Section 12 and to be designated 12-A. "
[Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee
on Elections. ]

By Mr. Archer: Senate Bill No. 279, entitled "An Act to
repeal Sections 222, 223, 224, 225, 226, 227 and 228 of Article
23 of Bagby's Annotated Code of Public Civil Laws of Mary-
land, title 'Corporations, ' sub-title 'Fire Marshal. '" [Which
was read the first time and referred to the Committee on
Corporations. ]

By Mr. Archer: Senate Bill No. 280, entitled "An Act to
add two new sections to Article 23 of Bagby's Code of Public
Civil Laws, title 'Corporations, ' sub-title 'Insurance Com-
panies'; said new sections to follow immediately after Section
160 of said Article and to be known as Sections 160 A and
160-B. " [Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Corporations. ]
