PUBLIC BATHING BEACH BETWEEN SAUNDERS AND
DUTCHMAN'S POINTS AT ANY TIME; providing that the beach
is in fact resorted to by the public for bathing; and provided that
the extent of the beach along the shore line is marked as may be
required by any rule or regulation of the Commission of Tidewater
Fisheries;

5. In all the tributary waters of Anne Arundel County including
Marley Creek, Stoney Creek, Bodkin Creek, Magothy River inside
of a line drawn from Mountain Point to Persimmon Point,
LITTLE
MAGOTHY RIVER, Whitehall Bay between the shore and a line
drawn from Hacketts Point to and including Mill Creek; Severn
River between the shore and a line drawn from Greenbury Point to

Tolly Point; South, Rhode and West rivers between the shore and a

line drawn from Thomas Point to Curtis Point THE EAST SIDE OF
THE ENTRANCE TO LAKE OGLETON; SOUTH RIVER BE-
TWEEN THE SHORE AND A LINE DRAWN BETWEEN TUR-
KEY POINT AND THE EAST SIDE OF DUVALL CREEK, and

extending fifteen hundred (1,500) feet in front of the Sandy Point
State Park and the Fort Smallwood Park;

6. Anywhere in Anne Arundel County within fifteen hundred
(1,500) feet of the shore line measured from mean tide. After study
and report by the Department of Education and Research, the De
-
partment of Tidewater Fisheries is authorized to permit the taking
of clams to within 800 feet of the shoreline in those areas which have
been reported upon by the Department of Education and Research.
The Department of tidewater
fisheries shall have the authority to

open and close those areas between 800 feet and 1500 feet of the

shoreline upon study and report of the Department of Research and
Education. Subject to the limitations of this sub-section (d) 6, and
notwithstanding the provisions of sub section (d) of this Section

715, it shall be lawful in Anne Arundel County to catch soft shell

clams from September 15 to April in the Severn River east of a line
drawn from Greenberry Point to the Eastern entrance of Lake
Ogleton and in that part of the
Chesapeake Bay near the South River

and the West River lying east of a line drawn from Swan Point to

Selby Point and from Dutchman's Point to Curtis Point.

6. ANYWHERE IN ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY NORTH OF
THE CHESAPEAKE BAY BRIDGE WITHIN 800 FEET OF THE
SHORELINE MEASURED FROM MEAN TIDE; ANYWHERE
IN ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY SOUTH OF THE CHESAPEAKE
BAY BRIDGE AND NORTH OF THOMAS POINT WITHIN 300
FEET OF THE SHORELINE DURING THE PERIOD SEPTEM-
BER 15 TO APRIL 15, INCLUSIVE, AND WITHIN 800 FEET OF
THE SHORELINE DURING THE REMAINING PART OF THE
YEAR; ANYWHERE IN ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY SOUTH
OF THOMAS POINT WITHIN 300 FEET OF THE SHORELINE,
EXCEPT THAT BETWEEN TURKEY POINT AND RAMSAY
LAKE CLAMMING IS PROHIBITED WITHIN 800 FEET OF THE
SHORELINE. THE DEPARTMENT OF TIDEWATER FISH-
ERIES SHALL HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO OPEN AND CLOSE
THOSE AREAS WHERE CLAMMING IS PERMITTED UNDER
THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ACT. PROVIDED, HOWEVER,
THAT THE RESTRICTIONS CONTAINED HEREIN SHALL NOT
BE CONSTRUED TO PREVENT THE TAKING OF CLAMS
