(B-1) BALTIMORE COUNTY. THE COUNCIL COUNSEL TO
THE BOARD IN BALTIMORE COUNTY SHALL RECEIVE SUCH
ANNUAL COMPENSATION AS MAY BE INCLUDED IN THE
COUNTY BUDGET FROM TIME TO TIME BUT, IN NO EVENT,
TO BE LESS THAN $2,000 PER ANNUM.

(c)  Harford County. The Supervisors of Elections of Harford
County shall appoint a Chief Clerk at an annual salary to be fixed by
the County Commissioners. The Chief Clerk so appointed shall be
skilled in typing and clerical work and he shall have charge of the
proper maintenance of the registration and voting records in Har-
ford County, subject to the general supervision of the Supervisors of
Elections. He shall be appointed upon the basis of his skill and
ability in record keeping without regard to political affiliation and
he shall hold office during good behavior and shall be removable only
for incompetency or immorality upon charges furnished in writing
by the Supervisors setting forth the grounds for dismissal and after
opportunity for hearing.

(d)  Prince George's County. The County Commissioners of
Prince George's County may provide supplementary funds for the
payment of compensation or other expenses which had not been in-
cluded in the original appropriation; provided, however, that no
salaries of permanently employed personnel shall be changed during
any fiscal year.

(e)  Salary of Clerk of Board in Somerset County. In Somerset
County, the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors of Elections provided
for in this Article shall receive an annual salary of $500.

(f)  Salary of Clerk of Board and Attorney for Board in Wicomico
County. In Wicomico County the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors
of Elections provided for in this Article shall receive an annual salary
of $900, and the said Supervisors of Elections shall have the power
to employ an attorney, who shall be a member of the Bar of Wicomico
County and who shall also be the attorney for the judges of elections,
and such attorney shall receive an annual salary of $600; the salaries
of said Clerk and said attorney to be paid in equal quarterly install-
ments by the County Commissioners of Wicomico County; provided,
however, that in the event of special elections or special services
rendered the said County Commissioners shall, at the request and
recommendation of the Supervisors of Elections, allow such additional
compensation as they may deem commensurate with such special
services rendered.

(g)  Salary of Clerk of Board in Worcester County. In Worcester
County the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors of Elections provided
for in this Article shall receive an annual salary of $500.

6. Baltimore City, (a) Salaries. The Supervisors of Elections of
of the City of Baltimore shall have the following employees at the
minimum salaries indicated: Chief Clerk at a salary of $4,500 per
annum; Assistant Chief Clerk at a salary of $4,500 per annum; Two
Registrars at a salary of $3,800 each per annum; Two Assistant
Registrars at a salary of $3,000 each per annum; Two Clerks at a
salary of $3,500 each per annum; One Clerk at a salary of $2,900
per annum; Two Clerks at a salary of $2,780 each per annum; Thir-
teen Clerks at a salary of $2,660 each per annum; Four Clerks at a
salary of $2,420 each per annum; Custodian of Voting Machines at
