That James H. Knotts of Queen Ann's county, be, and
he is hereby divorced from his wife, Catherine Knotts,
a vinculo matrimonii.

timore, from her husband, George Rector.

That Mary Ann Rector, of the city of Baltimore, be,
and she is hereby divorced from her husband, George
Rector, a vinculo matrimonii.

A supplement to an act entitled, an act to lay out and
open a road, from the town of Westminster, in Fred-
erick (now in Carroll county, ) to the City of Wash-
ington and George Town.

WHEREAS, it is represented to this General Assem-
bly of Maryland, by sundry citizens of Carroll county,
that the interests of many of them would be greatly
promoted, while the convenience of none would be in-
terrupted, by a proposed alteration in the road lead-
ing from Westminster to Washington and Georgetown:

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Benjamin Fowler, John Miller and
Michael Barnits, be, and they are hereby appointed
commissioners, to open a new road, in the stead of
that now in use, to commence for the same, at the point
where the said road is intersected by the road leading
to the residence of Col. Joshua Gist, and following the
outskirt of a certain strip of land, bordering upon the
