or commission, the State may, upon first obtaining the consent
and approval of any such agency, instrumentality, district or
commission, transfer title to the needed portion of any such
real or personal property to the State for the use of the State
Roads Commission by such instrument or instruments of con-
veyance as may be appropriate, and may likewise transfer to
the Commission total or partial jurisdiction over any such
property so conveyed. The Commission is hereby authorized
and empowered to receive and accept title to, jurisdiction over,
or an interest in any such real or personal property in the
manner above outlined and to abide by such terms and con-
ditions of transfer as may be agreed upon as aforesaid.
Nothing herein contained shall be construed to modify or
impair any contract, commitment, declaration of trust or
trust indenture which any such county, municipality, district,
commission, agency, instrumentality or political subdivision
may have made or entered into with or for the benefit of the
United States, any agency or instrumentality thereof, or any
bondholders or other obligees of any such county, municipality,
district, commission, agency, instrumentality or political sub-
division. Nothing herein contained shall be construed to
limit, restrict, or amend the power of condemnation conferred
on said Commission elsewhere in this Article nor to create a
condition precedent to the exercise of such power.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 646.
(House Bill 728)

AN ACT to add five new sections to Article 3 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Bal-
timore County", to be under a new sub-title "Trailers", said
new sections to be known as Sections 773A, 773B, 773C,
773D and 773E, and to follow immediately after Section 773
of said Article, relating to the licensing of trailers in Balti-
more County, prescribing penalties for violation, authoriz-
ing agreements with the United States of America or any
agency thereof for fixed annual sums in lieu of license fees,
and defining the term "trailer".
