and for affixing the official seal to such copy, the sum of
one dollar.

(i) For valuing individual policies of life insurance
companies, fifteen dollars per million of insurance or any
fractional part thereof, and for valuing group policies of
life insurance companies, three dollars per million of insur-
ance or any fractional part thereof.

(j) For official examination of companies, under this
Article, the charges specified in Section 50 of this Article.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1939.

CHAPTER 333.
(Senate Bill 382)

AN ACT to authorize and direct the County Commissioners
of Montgomery County to levy a sum of money for the
compilation and publication of the Public Local Laws of
Montgomery County and to authorize the said County
Commissioners to sell copies thereof.

WHEREAS, due to the many amendments to the Local
Laws of Montgomery Comity and the enactment of new
laws relating to said County, there is great need for a new
edition of the L6cal Laws of said County; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Montgomery
County be and they are hereby authorized and directed to
appropriate and include in their next levy after the passage
of this Act, the sum of three thousand dollars ($3000. 00)
for the compilation and publication of a new edition of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Montgomery County.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the County
Commissioners of Montgomery County are hereby author-
ized to sell copies of said Code at such price as, in their
judgment, seems proper. All monies received from the
sale of said Code shall be paid into the general funds of
the treasury of Montgomery County.
