The Hon. John Funk, of Frederick County, duly seconded, by the
Hon. A. Raymond Marvel, of Talbot County, nominated the Hon.
James J. Lindsay, of Baltimore County, for the President of the
Senate.

The Hon. Robert B. Kimble, of Allegany County, duly seconded by
the Hon. Horace H. Bowling, of St. Mary's County, nominated the
Hon. Wilmer Fell Davis, of Caroline County, for the President of
the Senate.

There being no other nominations, the nominations were closed.

Roll call was then taken on the election of presiding officer,
resulting as follows:

Upon motion of Senator Davis, duly seconded, the election of
Senator Lindsay was made unanimous.
