SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 463 of the Acts of 1918 be and it is hereby
repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the County Board
of Education of Charles County be and it is hereby authorized
to expend the seven hundred ($700.00) dollars levied under
Chapter 463 of the Acts of 1918 for general school repairs or
for the erection of other school buildings in said county.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1922.

Approved April 13th, 1922.

CHAPTER 397.

AN ACT to add two new sections to Section 19 of the charter
of the town of Mount Rainier, in Prince George's County,
Maryland, as the same was enacted by Chapter 200 of the
Acts of 1916; said new sections to follow immediately after
Section 19 and to be known as Section 19A and Section 19B.

WHEREAS, The Mayor and Common Council of the town of
Mount Rainier, in Prince George's County, Maryland, are re-
sponsible for the enforcement of municipal ordinances and the
preservation of peace and good order in said town; and

WHEREAS, The Mayor and Common Council have power to
employ such persons as they think necessary for the aforesaid
purposes; and

WHEREAS, The town of Mount Rainier, in Prince George's
County, has no money available or means for raising money
for the employment of persons to enforce municipal ordinances
and the preservation of peace and good order in said town ;
and

WHEREAS, The Mount Rainier Citizens' Association and
the Mayor and Common Council of Mount Rainier believe
that the interests of the town would be served by having means
provided whereby there would be sufficient money available for
the employment of persons to preserve peace and good order
in said town and to carry out the municipal ordinances there-
of; now, therefore,
