corporate shall violate any of the provisions of this Act within
the limits of Washington County, they shall upon conviction,
thereof for the first offense forfeit and pay a fine of not less
than fifty ($50. 00) dollars nor more than two hundred
($200. 00) dollars or be imprisoned in the County jail or the
Maryland House of Correction for not lees than thirty (30)
days nor more than six (6) months, or both so fined and im-
prisoned in the discretion of the Court; and upon conviction
thereof for the second and each subsequent violation shall be
fined not less than one hundred ($100. 00) dollars nor more
than five hundred ($500. 00) dollars and be imprisoned in the
Maryland House of Correction for not less than six months
nor more than one year.

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That it shall be unlawful for
any person or persons, public or private carrier, to knowingly
accept or receive for shipment, transportation or delivery to
any person or place within the limits of Washington County,
or to carry, bring into, transfer to any other person, carrier or
agent, handle, deliver or distribute in Washington County any
intoxicating liquor, regardless of the name by which it may
be called, in larger quantity than one quart at any one time;
but under no circumstances shall any intoxicating liquor of
any kind or description be shipped, delivered or given to any
person under the age of twenty-one years; and whoever shall,
by himself or another, either as principal, clerk, agent or em-
ploye, knowingly violate any of the provisions of this section
shall upon conviction thereof be fined not less than fifty
($50. 00) dollars nor more than five hundred ($5. 00. 00) dollars,
and upon conviction of any subsequent violation of this sec-
tion, in addition to such fine, shall be imprisoned in the County
jail for not less than thirty (30) days nor more than six (6)
months; provided, however, that nothing in this section shall
be construed to apply to deliveries by public carrier of such
goods in unbroken packages of wine in quantity not to exceed
two gallons in any one calendar month to churches or proper
officers thereof for sacramental purposes.

The acceptance, receiving, carrying, transferring, handling,
delivery or distribution of intoxicating liquor under false or
fictitious names anywhere in Washington County shall work a
forfeiture of such liquor and subject the one so violating this
section to the penalties heretofore. provided in this section.
Provided, however, that this section shall only apply in the.
