Judges and Clerk of the Court of Appeals, two
thousand dollars; for a fire-proof safe for the Trea-
surer's office, two thousand dollars; to John Mur-
phy, for two hundred and fifty volumes of Mary-
land Code of Public General and Public Local
Laws and Supplement, and two hundred and fifty
volumes of Supplement, two thousand six hundred
and twenty-one dollars and twenty-five cents; to
George Jacobi, for work done in the Land Office
under order of the House, two hundred and fifty
dollars; to John Sullivan, Keeper of the House of
Delegates, for services from the first of January,
eighteen hundred and sixty-two, to January first,
eighteen hundred and sixty-four, in addition to
the sum of fifty dollars already allowed him, one
hundred and fifty dollars; to pay the claims of
James E. Tate, for articles furnished to the Gen-
eral Assembly, per order of the joint committee,
two hundred and sixteen dollars.

Treasurer to
disburse.
|
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the Treasurer
of the State shall, upon the warrant of the Comp-
troller of the Treasury Department, disburse the
said sums of money herein appropriated for the
objects and purposes specified, to or upon the order
of the person or persons, bodies politic or corpo-
rate, severally entitled thereto; and that the sev-
eral public officers, to whom the same or any part
thereof may be paid, shall render quarterly, to the
Comptroller, accounts of the expenditure thereof,
with the proper vouchers, verified by affidavit, ex-
cepting such part as may be disbursed out of the
Executive Contingent Fund, upon the order of the
Governor, or such further part thereof as may be
paid for or on account of salaries fixed by the Con-
stitution and laws of this State.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
