ARTICLE XXI.
SAINT MARY'S COUNTY.
CHAPTER 234.
AN ACT to authorize and direct the County Commissioners of
Saint Mary's County to levy a sum of taxes, not to exceed six
hundred dollars, to build a schoolhouse for white children at
or near "Posey's Bluff," in the Third Election District of
Saint Mary's County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Saint Mary's County
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to levy a sum
of taxes, not to exceed six hundred dollars, to build a school-
house for white children at or near Posey's Bluff, in the Third
Election District of Saint Mary's County.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Board of School Commis-
sioners of Saint Mary's County shall contract for the building
of said schoolhouse by bids in the usual form, awarding the
same to the lowest responsible bidder, provided said bid does
not exceed six hundred dollars.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 82.
AN ACT to authorize and direct the County Commissioners

nine hundred dollars ($900) to build a schoolhouse for white
children at or near Ridge, in the First Election District of
St. Mary's County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of St. Mary's County be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to levy a sum
of money not exceeding nine hundred dollars ($900) for the
building of a schoolhouse for white children at Ridge, in the
First Election District of St. Mary's County.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Board of County School
Commissioners of said county shall contract for the building
of said schoolhouse by bids in the usual form, awarding the
same to the lowest responsible bidder; provided said bid does
not exceed nine hundred dollars ($ 900).
