SEC. 3. It shall be unlawful to place in the waters of said
county any trot or outline baited with either live or dead bait
or take fish in any of the waters of said county with haul
seine, drag net or other devise other than by angling with rod,
line and angle hook, baited with natural or artificial bait, under
a penalty of $5 for each trot line so placed and of $2 for each
fish taken in violation of this section.

CHAP. 543.

Unlawful to
place trot or
outline, etc.,
in water.

SEC. 4. It shall be unlawful for any person or corporation
to place or permit to be placed in any of the waters of said
county any sawdust or poison or other substance hurtful to
fish life, or to use any dynamite or explosive in said waters,
except for engineering or mining purposes, under a penalty of
not less than $50 nor more than $100 for each and every
offense.

SEC. 5. All fines in this Act are payable, except as provided
in section S of chapter 293 of the Acts of 1896, one-half to
the informer, one-half to the school fund of said county.
SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 544.

AN ACT to pay to Isaac L. English, late tax collector for first
collection district of Wicomico County, a sum of money
erroneously paid by him into the State Treasury.

How fines
shall be paid.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be and he
is hereby authorized and directed to issue his warrant upon the
Treasurer of the State to pay and reimburse Isaac L. English,
of Wicomico county, the sum of fifty-six dollars and ninety-
two cents, being the amount overpaid by said Isaac L. English
to the Treasurer as collector of said taxes for the first collec-
tion district of Wicomico county for the year 1895 and certi-
fied to by the Comptroller and Treasurer of the State, and by
them recommended to be refunded.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
Approved April 11, 1902.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendment Section 13
of Article 33, Code of Public General Laws, title "Elec-
tions," sub-title "Supervisors of Elections."
