A bill, entitled, An act adding an additional supplement to an
act, entitled, An act to incorporate the Metropolitan Railroad
Company, passed at January session, 1853,

Was taken up, read the third time, and passed by yeas and
nays as follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.

Messrs. Blackistone, McKaig,

Bradley, Nuttle,

Duvall, Smith,

Franklin, Stone,
Goldsborough, of Talbot; Townsend,

Heckart, Watkins,

Kimmel, Whitaker—14.

NEGATIVE—NONE.

Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates.

Mr. McKaig, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported

A bill, entitled, An act to amend the 93rd Article of the Code
of Public General Laws, by adding thereto a section limiting the
effect of the exception of actions "for anything done to the per-
son," made in the 10th section of said Article;

Which was read the second time.

A bill, entitled, An act to amend the 57th Article of the Code
of Public General Laws, by repealing the 1st section thereof, and
re-enacting the same, with an alteration touching the limitation
of certain actions for wrongs affecting the personal rights of the
citizen;

Which was read the second time.

A bill, entitled, An act to amend the 75th Article of the Code
of Public General Laws, concerning pleadings, practice and pro-
cess, by adding thereto the following sections ————, relating to
the service of civil process;

Which was read the second time.

A bill, entitled, An act to amend the 10th Article of the Code
of Public General Laws, by adding thereto the following sec-
tions ————, relating to attachments against non-residents of the
State, and parties absconding therefrom, in certain actions for
wrongs affecting the personal rights of the citizen;

Which was read the second time.
