to adopt such by-laws as may be deemed nec-
essary for the government of the Corps not
inconsistent with the laws of this State, and
to alter such by-laws at its discretion.

Effective.

SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 114.

AN ACT to give and grant the sanction and
consent of the General Assembly of Mary-
land to sundry sales, conveyances and deeds
of various persons in this State to or for the
use of sundry religious sects, orders and de-
nominations.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General As-

hereby granted and given to the following
sales, deeds and conveyances to or for the use
of the several religious sects, orders and de-
nominations hereafter set forth :

First. To the sale of Robert Oliver to the Re-
formed Presbyterian Church of Baltimore of
certain property on the northwest side of Bel-
air avenue in the city of Baltimore, and fully de-

scribed in a deed dated July fifteenth, eighteen
hundred and twenty-eight, and now recorded
among the Land Records of Baltimore city,
Liber W. G., No. one hundred and ninety-four,
folio two hundred and six, etc., from said
Oliver to the Reformed Presbyterian Church
of Baltimore.
