duct of its affairs and the management of its property,


and to adopt such by-laws and rules as may be need-

Chapter 363.


AN ACT to amend the Charter of the President and


Directors of the Baltimore Fire Insurance Company,


incorporated by an act passed at November session,


eighteen hundred and seven, chapter sixty-eight,


entitled An act to incorporate a Fire Insurance


Company in the City of Baltimore, as amended by


a supplement to said act, passed at December session


eighteen hundred and thirty-five, chapter two hun-


dred and twenty-nine, providing for the investment


of the funds of said corporation, regulating the


election of directors, prescribing the qualification of


electors at all meetings of stockholders, and the


qualifications of directors, and repealing certain


sections of said acts of assembly as follows.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly


of Maryland, That it shall be lawful for the said


corporation, and power is hereby expressly conferred
