No. 17. An Act to authorize the Commissioners of the town
of Salisbury, in Wicomico County, to appropriate the sum of
five hundred dollars out of the levy of eighteen hundred and
seventy-eight, to defray the expense of purchasing a fire
engine.

No. 18. An Act authorizing the Register of Wills for
Montgomery County to make a general index to the last
wills and testaments recorded in the office of the Register of
Wills for Montgomery County.

No. 19. An Act to authorize Robert H. Emory to fill up a

dock at Chestertown.

No. 20. An Act to repeal an Act of the General Assembly

of Maryland, of eighteen hundred and seventy-six, Chapter
sixty-two, entitled an Act to prevent the increase of gates
upon the public roads of Calvert County.

No. 21. An Act assigning the interest ef the State of Mary-
land in certain personal assets of Cyntice Cannon, a deceased
intestate borne out of wedlock, unto Cyntice M. Cannon, of
Dorchester County.

No. 22. An Act to create a new election district in Mont-
gomery County, to be known as Darnestown District, No. 6,
or the 6th Election District of Montgomery County.

No. 23. An Act to repeal Section one hundred and thirty-
eight, of the Acts passed at the January Session, eighteen
hundred and seventy-four, Chapter four hundred and eighty-
three, entitled an Act to repeal Article eighty-one, of the
Code of Public General Laws of the State of Maryland, en-
titled "Revenue and Taxes," and to re-enact the same with
amendments, and to amend and re enact the said one hun-
dred and thirty-eighth section.

No. 61. An Act to repeal the forty-first Section of the
twenty-ninth Article of the Code of Public General Laws,
entitled "Courts," and to re-enact the same as follows.

No. 62. An Act to provide for the payment of the salary
due the Secretary of the State Board of Health for the year
ending the thirty-first day of December, eighteen hundred
and seventy-seven.

No. 63. An Act to cede to the United States the title to
the land occupied by the Antietam National Cemetery, near
Sharpsburg, Washington County, in the State of Maryland,
and to cede jurisdiction over same.
