On motion by Mr. Franklin,
Leave was granted to Senators Franklin, Dennis and Hum-
phreys to introduce a bill to be entitled an Act to encourage
the destruction of hawks and owls in Worcester County.
On motion by Mr. Franklin,
Leave was granted to Senators Franklin, Dennis and Hum-
phreys to introduce a bill to be entitled an Act to authorize
the County Commissioners of Worcester County to open a
road in said county from a point near the town of Berlin, to
the road between Newark and Queponco, and to erect gates
across the same.
On motion by Mr. Franklin,
Leave was granted to Senators Franklin, Stump and Den-
nis to introduce a bill to be entitled an Act to repeal Chapter
294, of the Acts of 1874, entitled an Act to encourage the
destruction of hawks in Harford and Worcester Counties,
and to re-enact the following in lieu thereof.
On motion by Mr. Bannon,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to in-
troduce a bill to be entitled an Act to further amend the
charter of the Baltimore and Drum Point Railroad Company,
and to extend the line for the completion of the said rail-
road.
On motion by Mr. Ford,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance to intro-
duce a bill to be entitled an Act authorizing the Comptroller,
with the approval of the Treasurer, to adjust and settle the
account of the Chester Eiver Steamboat Company.
On motion by Mr. Stump,
Leave was granted to Senators Stump, Freeman and Miller
to introduce a bill to be entitled an Act to repeal Section 10,
of Article 28, of the Public General Laws, entitled "County
Commissioners," and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.
On motion by Mr. Freeman,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Pensions to intro-
duce a bill to be entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1870,
Chapter 477, the Act of 1872, Chapter 309, the Acts of 1874,
Chapters 305, 351 and 415, and the Act of 1876, Chapter
320, giving pensions to soldiers of the war of 1812, and
widows of soldiers.
