House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 1, of Article
73, Code of Public General Laws, title "Penitentiary," and
to re-enact the same with amendments,

Being upon its third reading,

The amendments submitted by the Committee on Finance,
on the 28th ult., were adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was then read the third time, and
passed by yeas and nays as follows :
