Said bill was then read the second part.
Mr. Austin, from a Select Committee, reported fav-
orably the following bills :

House bill entitled an Act to prohibit the taking of
crabs in Choptank River, in Great Choptank River.
Which was read the second time.
House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Governor
to appoint a Justice the Peace in Dorchester county,
With the following proposed amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Strike out "the town of Hurlock," and insert
"Williamsburg District" in the title of the bill.

In section 1, strike in third line, "the town of Hur-
lock," and insert "Williamsburg District."

Which was adopted

Said bill as amended, was read the second time.
