license,

With the following proposed amendments :
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

In section 1, line 7, after the word "the," strike out
''fifteenth day of October" and insert "first day of
'September,"

Add to the end of section5, as follows : "That noth-
ing in this Act shall be construed to prohibit any land
owner or occupant thereof from permitting any non-
resident without license killing any of said game
upon his premises during the period allowed by this
Act to residents of said county,"

Which were adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was read the second time.

Mr. Hayes, from a Select Committee, reported fav-
orably the following bills :

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor
and City Council of Baltimore city to acquire a
majority of the capital stock of the Baltimore and
Easter Shore Railroad Company.

House bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower
Wyatt Owen to build a bridge from a point on the
shore of the Patapsco River, near Lester's wharf, to
connect with Light Street Bridge, over the Patapsco
River.

Which were read the second time.

House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Balti-
more, East Baltimore and North Point Railroad Com-
pany,

With the following proposed amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Insert at the end of section 6 A of the bill the fol-
lowing:

"Section 6 B. Provided, however that it shall be un-
lawful for said railroad company to build or construct
its road on, over or across any street or highway in
Baltimore city, without the consent or approval of the
Mayor and City Council of Baltimore being first had
and obtained; and provided further, that in the con-
struction of said road in Baltimore city, and the
proper repair of the same, and of the keeping in re-
