On motion of Mr. Elliott,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judi-
ciary to introduce a bill entitled an Act to give the
sanction and assent of the General Assembly of
Maryland to the grant made by Patrick Kelly and
wife to the Parsonage Trustees of Parkton Circuit
Baltimore Annual Conference of the Methodist Epis-
copal Church of Baltimore county and State of Mary-
land.
On motion of Mr. Collins,
Leave was granted to the Talbot County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to carry into
effect section 1, of Article 7, of the Constitution of
this State, so far as the same relates to Talbot county,
and to fix the terms of the members of the Board of
County Commissioners of said county.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Talbot County Delegation
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to add an ad-
ditional section to Article 21, of the Code of Public
Laws of this State, title "Talbot County," to be a
sub-title "State's Attorney," designated section 237,
On motion of Mr. Miles,
Leave was granted to the Dorchester County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal
and re-enact with amendments section 288, of Article
10, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Dor-
chester County," sub-title ."State's Attorney."
On motion of Mr. Meredith,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Education
to introduce a bill entiled an Act to repeal section
6, of Article 77, of the Code of Public General Laws,
title "Public Education," sub-title "Formation of
Boards," and section 18 of the same Article and title,
sub-title "Duties of County School Commissioners,"
so far as the said sections relate to Dorchester
county, and re-enact with amendments.
On motion of Mr. Walz,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judi-
ciary to introduce a bill entitled an Act to regulate
the carrying of passengers and for the safety and pro-
tection of the same.
