Mr. Meredith submitted the following proposed
amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Section 20 G, line 212, after the word "of," strike
out "six" and insert "four" in lieu thereof.
Which was rejected.
Mr. Bryan submitted the following proposed amend-
ment :
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Section 21 A, line 267. after the word "of," insert
"section 20 to 21 A, inclusive of."
Which was adopted
Mr Miles subiritted the following proposed amend-
ment :
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
In line 280, section 21 A, after die word "or," strike
out all to the word "such," and insert "Justice of the
Peace before whom."
Which was adopted.
Mr. Smith, of Dorchester, submitted the following
proposed amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
In section 2, page 15, line 2. after the word "re-
pealed," insert the following: "to the extent that
they are so inconsistent."
Which was adopted.

The following Act of the General Assembly, origi-
nating in the House of Delegates, was presented to
the Governor for his approval at 7.30 P. M. this day.
Chapter 51. An Act to appropriate a sum of money
to pay A. S. Abell & Co., and others, for publishing
the Constitutional Amendments and Governor's Proc-
lamation, according to contract made with the Gov-
ernor of the State of Maryland
