Mr Miles subiritted the following proposed amend-
ment :
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
In line 280, section 21 A, after die word "or," strike
out all to the word "such," and insert "Justice of the
Peace before whom."
Which was adopted.
Mr. Smith, of Dorchester, submitted the following
proposed amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
In section 2, page 15, line 2. after the word "re-
pealed," insert the following: "to the extent that
they are so inconsistent."
Which was adopted.

nating in the House of Delegates, was presented to
the Governor for his approval at 7.30 P. M. this day.
Chapter 51. An Act to appropriate a sum of money
to pay A. S. Abell & Co., and others, for publishing
the Constitutional Amendments and Governor's Proc-
lamation, according to contract made with the Gov-
ernor of the State of Maryland
