On motion Mr. Carr,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled an Act to appropri-
ate a sum of money to aid the Baltimore College of
Dental Surgery in erecting a building in the City of
Baltimore for the purpose of lecture rooms and an in-
firmary.
On motion of Mr. Brashears,
Leave was granted to the Anne Arundel County
Delegation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal
section 60, of Article 77, of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws, title "Public Education," sub-title ' Text
Books," so far as the same applies to Anne Arundel
county, and to re-enact a substitute therefor, pro
viding for thefree use of books and stationery in the
public schools of said county.
On motion of Mr. Ireland,
Leave was granted to the Calvert County Delegation
and Mr. Combs to introduce a bill entitled an Act to
repeal and re-enact with amendments section 1, and to
repeal section 11 of chapter 183, of the laws of Mary-
land, passed at the session of 1890, entitled an Act to
create a Treasurer for Calvert county, and to provide
for the collection of taxes therein.
On motion of Mr. Smith,
Leave was granted to the Dorchester County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to divide the
fourth or Parson's Creek Election District of Dor-
thester county into two voting precincts.
On motion of Mr. McSherry,
Leave was granted to the Frederick County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize
and empower the Governor to appoint an additional
Justice of the Peace for Election District No. 12, in
Frederick county.
On motion of Mr. Hayward,
Leave was granted to the Harford County Delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled an Act to provide for
an additional Justice of the Peace in the Third Elec-
tion District of Harford county.
