demeanor case or cases heretofore received by him, as provided
by any local law for Wicomico county, or in any general law
of the State, shall receive a salary of fourteen hundred dollars
per annum as full compensation for his entire services in such
cases as required of him by law, or which may hereafter be
required of him, the said salary to be paid to him by the
County Commissioners of Wicomico. County.
188. The said salary of fourteen hundred dollars shall be
paid to the said State's Attorney by the said County Commis-
sioners in equal quarterly instalments on the first day of Jan-
uary, April, July and October in each and every year, and
the said County Commissioners shall levy annually the said
sum of fourteen hundred dollars for the purpose of paying the
said salary to the said State's Attorney.
189. The first instalment of the salary of the State's Attor-
ney shall be paid by the County Commissioners on the first
day of July, 1912, but the State's Attorney shall not be paid
for any services or fees for the previous quarter, and all fees
for said previous quarter collected from any -party or parties
required to pay the same shall be paid to the County Commis-
sioners.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 652.
AN ACT to amend the charter of Emmitsburg Savings Bank,
of Frederick county, Maryland.
WHEREAS, The Emmitsburg Savings Bank, of Frederick county,
Maryland, was duly incorporated under the provisions of
the Public General Laws of Maryland, the charter of which
corporation was amended by Chapter 475 of the Acts of
the General Assembly of Maryland of 1910; and,
WHEREAS, The original charter, among other things, provided
that "the members of this corporation shall be the owners
and holders of the certificates of the weekly deposits issued
by this corporation which weekly deposits shall not exceed the
sum of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000)" and such
amount having been received and certificates issued therefor
in the amount of ten dollars ($10) and multiples thereof;
