Trust Company of Maryland without the consent of said com-
mission, thus depriving the commission of money for neces-
sary expenses and clerk hire; and,
WHEREAS, For that reason the Comptroller of the Treasury of
Maryland has no balance out of which to pay accounts
approved by the then Governor (Crothers),
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to draw his warrant upon the Treas-
urer for the sum of twenty-nine dollars and seventy cents
($29.70) in favor of the said Richard Grady, and for the sum
of nine dollars and seventy-five cents ($9.75) in favor of the
said Carroll Edgar,, and the said Treasurer is hereby author-
ized and directed to pay the said sums out of any funds in the
Treasury, not otherwise specifically appropriated.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 509.
AN ACT to add a section to Article 1 of the Public Local Laws
of Maryland, entitled "Allegany County," sub-titled "Cum-
berland," to be designated as section 48A, dividing the Sixth
Ward of the City of Cumberland into two precincts, and for
providing for elections to be held in said precincts.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a section be added to Article 1 of the Public Local
Laws of Maryland, entitled "Allegany County," sub-titled
"Cumberland," to be designated as section 48A and to read as
follows:
48A. The Sixth Ward of the City of Cumberland as
described in section 48 shall be divided into two precincts:
Precinct No. 1—Comprising all that part of the said ward
lying between the center of the Williams road on the north and
the center line of the Oldtown road on the south, the Potomac
River on the west and the city limits on the east.
Precinct No. 2—Comprising all that part of the Sixth Ward
lying to the south of the center line of the Oldtown road. And
elections shall hereafter be conducted in each of said precincts
