SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 507.

AN ACT to amend the Charter of the Proprietors of Green-
mount Cemetery, by authorizing the increase of the perma-
nent fund for the maintenance thereof.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Charter of the Proprietors of Greenmount Ceme-
tery be and the same is hereby amended so as to authorize the
Proprietors of Greenmount Cemetery to set aside and invest
for the future maintenance thereof, and the care and preserva-
tion of the same, a fund not exceeding seven hundred thousand
dollars; provided, however, that nothing contained in this sec-
tion shall in any manner impose any additional burden or
expense upon the present lotholders of the said Cemetery Com-
pany.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved April 8, 1912.

CHAPTER 508.

AN ACT to reimburse Richard Grady and Carroll Edgar for
expenses and clerk hire actually incurred in the performance
of their duties as chairman and secretary, respectively, of
the Commission on Industrial Education, and appropriating
a sum of money therefor.

WHEREAS, The General Assembly of 1908 created' a Commis-
sion on Industrial Education, and appropriated three hun-
dred dollars ($300) for necessary expenses and clerk hire;
and,

WHEREAS, September 30, 1910, fifty-eight dollars and thirty-
four cents ($58.34) of that amount was paid to the Union
