In compliance with Section 9 of Article XIX of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, I hereby submit a report of financial affairs of
the State for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1937.

I hope you will bear in mind the desire of this Department to co-
operate completely in every possible way to bring about a most
economical and efficient administration of the fiscal affairs of the
State.
