                                    In Testimony Whereof, I have
                                    hereunto subscribed my name as
                                    the Governor of the State of
                                    Maryland, and caused to be attached
                                    hereto the Great Seal of the
                                    State of Maryland, this 2nd day of
                                    December in the year of our Lord,
                                    One Thousand Nine Hundred and
                                    Forty.

        Thereupon, each of the eight Electors present
voted for Franklin A. Roosevelt for President of the
United States of America and each of said Electors
voted for Henry A. Wallace for Vice President of the
United States of America.
        Thereupon, each of said eight Electors signed
six separate certificates showing the results of the
votes for President and Vice President of the United States
of America as required by the Act of Congress,
approved May 29, 1928, and after said certificates
were sealed the Secretary was directed to dispose of
same as follows:
