LAWS OF MARYLAND.

Bounds of
Districts.

3. Be it enacted, That the third election district
of Baltimore county he divided into two election
precincts, with the following;' metes and bounds,
that is to say : Precinct number one, of the third
election district, shall comprise all that part of
said district bounded on the north by Roger's
avenue until it intersects the Reisterstown turn-
pike; binding thence along the centre of said pike
to a stream crossing said pike at or near Hooper's
Lane; thence binding on the south side of said
stream passing through Mrs. Hayward's property
to a stream known as Merryman's Branch; thence
binding on south side of said branch to the Liberty
turnpike; another voting place in said precinct
number one shall be the old Hammett House, on
the Reisterstown road, and precinct number two
of said third election district, shall comprise all of
said third election district not included in said firs
precinct, and the voting place of said precinct num-
ber two shall be the Seven Mile House on the
Reisterstown road.

5. And be it enacted, That the eleventh district
of Baltimore county, he divided into two election
precincts with the following metes, and bounds,
that is to say. precinct number one of this eleventh
election district, shall comprise all that part of
said district lying to the west of the Baltimore and
Jerusalem Turnpike, formerly the Bel-Air road,
and the place of voting in said precinct number
one shall be at Wright's Tavern, on the Harford
road, and precinct number two of said eleventh
election district shall comprise all that part of said
district not included within the bounds of the above
described precinct number one, and the place of
voting shall be at William Blackston's, Ridgeley's
Forges, on the Philadelphia road.

Duty ofRegis-

ters.

7. And be it enacted. That it shall be the duty
of the Officers of Registration, in the said first,
third, ninth, elenth and twelfth districts, prior to
the next election in said districts to register all the
voters in said districts in the mode and manner
required by the Act of eighteen hundred and
seventy, Chapter two hundred and thirty-six, of
the laws of Maryland, and shall prepare separate
lists of voters according to their sub-divisions of
their respective districts into precincts as herein-
