three, of the Acts of eighteen hundred and sixty-
eight, be repealed and re-enacted to read as follows :

Repealed and
re-enacted.

1. Be it enacted, That the first, third, ninth,
eleventh and twelfth districts of Baltimore county,
shall be and are hereby divided into two or more
voting precincts, in the manner hereinafter pro-
vided.

2. And be it enacted, That the first election dis-
trict of Baltimore county be divided into two elec-
tion precincts, with the following metes and bounds,
that is to say : Precinct number one of the first
election district, beginning for the same at a point
on the Maiden's Choice Road, between the first
and thirteenth districts of Baltimore county, at a
culvert east of the dwelling house of W. R. Raisin,
running due north to the east boundary line of the
lands of the Union Bank of Baltimore; thence
along the east boundary line of said lands to the
Frederick turnpike road; across said road, and
thence along the dividing line between Charles J.
Baker and Sophia Schwartz, until it reaches the
land of Howard Heald; thence along the east
boundary line of the said Heald's land to the old
Frederick road; up the said road to the southeast
corner of the land of John Swann; thence north,
through the lands of the said Swann and the land
of Reverdy Johnson; west of said Johnson's
dwelling house, and thence along the Spring Branch
west of said Johnson's outbuildings, to the Dead
Run Branch; thence along said Dead Run to
Gwynn's Falls, which is the dividing line between
the first and third election districts of Baltimore
county; thence along said dividing line between
the aforesaid districts to the city limits; along
said city limits to the corner where the thirteenth
district line commences, and thence along the line
between the first and thirteenth districts to the
place of beginning; and the place of voting in
said precinct number one, shall be the Three Mile
House on the Frederick turnpike road; precinct
number two of said first election district shall
comprise all of said first election district not in-
cluded within the bounds of the above-described
precinct, and the place of voting in said precinct
number two shall be Catonsville; that the polls
for the thirteenth district shall be held at John J.
Wade's, Green Spring Hotel, near the fourth mile
stone on the Washington road.
